Elstead Lighting at the Ideal Home Show

The Ideal Home Show in Kensington Olympia is an inspiration hub for thousands of visitors every year. From soft furnishings to gazebos, it has it all. However, a central focus is always placed on their show homes, featuring a variety of the latest in interior and exterior design. This year a Traditionally British Home, styled by Linda Barker, had a 21st century twist and showed off key trends for 2016. Elstead Lighting contributed a selection of products for the project, which were featured in nearly every room of the house.

Downstairs, in the cloakroom, the Plantation large flush fitting in Pearl Bronze sparkled through its optic glass, creating a stunning pattern on the ceiling and walls.

In the dining room the City Lights chandelier was a modernist addition to a round traditional dining table. The Classic Pewter finish complemented perfectly the soft grey tones in the wallpaper and chairs.

In the kitchen two Urban Renewal pendants in Dark Antique Brass were artfully clustered over the work surface.

The master bedroom featured silver Flambeau Caryatid and Fragment table lamps, as well as the Fragment floor lamp, chosen to set off the silvers in the exquisite crane and cloud wallpaper. In the bathroom the Tranquil Bay three and single light wall fittings cast beautiful bright light on the grey walls and pale aqua tiles.

The children’s bedrooms featured the Spencer floor lamp in Western Bronze, and the Urban Renewal floor lamp alongside another Dark Antique Bronze pendant.

Elstead Lighting was pleased to be invited to the show to view the completed house. The pictures below show how amazing it really was.
