QUINTIESSE – WHO ARE WE?
Quintiesse is a carefully curated, premium brand within the Elstead Lighting Group
that seeks to bring together unique and memorable designs of the finest quality for
the Design, Hospitality and Premium retail communities. Head-quartered in the UK
but with mainland Europe and middle east presence, the mission of Quintiesse is to
bring unique products that put design and quality front and centre of their existence.
DESIGN AND BRAND PARTNERSHIPS
The mission of Quintiesse was first and foremost to bring memorable products, uniquely made to our discerning professional clientele. As well as own created products, an added essential ingredient was to find and partner with other manufacturers and product designers around the world that created such unique products, but did not operate in the 220V to 240V regions.
Driven by our passion for creative design, special attention to construction detail and eye-catching lifestyle photography, we aim to inspire you and your clients to choose and use these wonderful fittings within this Quintiesse Collection.
ARTISAN CRAFT AND TRADITIONAL METHODS
Despite so much technology employed in the manufacturing world today, the desire for craftsmanship, handwork and artisan skills has more interest now than before. The appreciation of the quality, the attention to detail, and the story behind every crafts-person that create beautiful products with passion brings a unique DNA to many of these products to bring pleasure to see and touch. This unique approach includes the choice of materials used as much as the craft
in which these are created.
These artisan skills include mouth blown glass, hand thrown Terracotta, multi coloured, hand brushed paint finishes, chemically dipped and hand rubbed patinas, hand woven natural materials like Rattan and crackle glazed porcelain
to name just some.
QUALITY AND MATERIALS
When products are aimed at bringing unique designs, hand-craft workmanship
and outstanding quality, the importance of construction and the choice of materials is equal to the craft they undergo. We have a team that work many hours collaborating with production to ensure that the choice and weight of the materials used are fit for what the final product will become. Creating great products involves a lot of drawings, prototypes, approving and sign-off to ensure the quality is of the level desired.
Once in production, online inspection, finial inspection and batch inspections are conducted to ensure a product that will both please and assure. Quintiesse and the Elstead Group have over 25 employed & dedicated staff involved in product management, quality control and final inspections of the products we offer. Both our UK and Poland operations are ISO9001-2015 quality certified, which is audited and issued each year.

Quintiesse, as part of the Elstead Group, is on a constant path to reduce waste, increase the use of recycled and recyclable materials, reduce plastics and to improve methodology to be more energy and material efficient. We pride ourselves in the engagement of working with artisans and craftspeople whose skill and craft are embraced and shared, in safe environments, with fairness and respect wherever in the world they may be located.
